BIO

WILDFIRE: AWESOME ROCK AND METAL MAKEOVERS!

Taking some of the world's greatest songs and covering 'em in rock & metal!

THE BAND:

Wildfire are a big, heavy rock band - let's not beat about the bush. But everyone likes a twist in the 'tale'.

Wildfire perform their own unique rock and metal makeovers of iconic songs from every genre and generation, morphed into classic hard rock anthems. Taking unlikely songs from (amongst others) Olivia Newton-John, The Osmonds, and Nancy Sinatra to synth masters Gary Numan, Depeche Mode and plenty more... you've never rocked them this way before!

THE SHOW:

"Expect a journey through some of your musical guilty pleasures - slammed hard down onto a slab of granite and covered in heavy armour plating."

Wildfire are currently rocking crowds and venues all across the Midlands so expect an entertaining, energetic performance from five guys who LOVE to perform to a crowd!

"Well what can I say. Saw these guys for the first time last night and impressed is an understatement. They have a truly unique sound, the covers were exceptional and totally unexpected. The whole set was a brilliant mix and performed by a group of very talented musicians. Really looking forward to seeing them all again." - The Burton Gig review

SONGS:

Just a few you might expect, quite a few you wouldn't - some you'll be familiar with - but may not have heard them this way before! All done with a huge dose of RAWK! (strike obligatory 'devil horns fingers and scrunched up face' pose please).

SOUND:

Unashamedly full of rich, twin lead guitar. Air guitarists WELCOME!

PHILOSOPHY:

Just because you're playing a pub doesn't mean you can't pretend it's WEMBLEY!

Here's what other people including Venue owners are saying about WILDFIRE:

NOTTINGHAM GIG REVIEW

"Definitely not your average rock covers band. Wildfire may play a few of the classics but throw in a lot of tracks you'd never expect, in fact who knew the likes of Nina Simone, Gary Numan, Ricky Martin or Frankie Goes To Hollywood could sound so damn good 'metalfied' lol. For a great night of silly enjoyable fun you can certainly do no better than this. Well worth checking this band out, they put on a crackin' show."  -  Robert Balmer, The Greyhound - one of Nottingham's premier live music venues.
